Essay: "Coming Back"

by Illinois Barconey
We are a stubborn people. We are taught at early age the sagas of fairy tales, myths, science fiction and the like. As we grow into adulthood, still not realizing how short life can be, we begin to reminisce believing the old days are coming back. It's not the days we want to relive; it's the material commodities and enjoyable moments. The human race is heavily populated, but only few of us accept the real coming back of the New World Order.

For the most part many believe there are some things that we can never prepare for. I suggest the most feared reality is death. How does it hunt us down, haunting our everyday life? Do we believe a mighty force will one day erase this monumental event that does not discriminate regardless of age, sex, race or religion? Living life with a constant reminder that there is no in between right or wrong, will erase minds of what's to come. Once this notion has taken root in our minds the fear of anything coming back to limit our happiness becomes tolerable.

When I was young, the elders instilled discipline in our lives with warning of things that are coming back. Many of their wise words frighten our conscious. As we grew older, their visions and lectures manifest themselves throughout our lives. Once man deters away from natural responsibilities the intended balance of creation goes awry. It's real noticeable to remember when an act by a higher power has suddenly changed the course of worldly mistakes. It's this substance that keeps coming back to reshape the divine purpose of creation. We want to believe that too much of anything is detrimental to our well being. I am a strong believer that growing acts of sin will aggravate the pre-planned order for our planet. Whatever comes back in retaliation will not give us another chance to live righteously.
