Essay: "Friendship"by Christopher B. On the subject of friendship, it is interesting to learn who sticks by you when you go to prison. Some people even lose their family when they come in. My closest friends since high school are my two brothers. Many of my other friends have had very little to do with me since my conviction. Some of them are simply too busy with their own lives. Others are angry with me because of the nature of my crime. Some were never true friends and will probably continue to try coming in and out of my life. What I've learned about friends, is that a true friend values you as a whole person, not just your money or your knowledge, or the good times you share.
