Friendship is a bond that transcends all barriers barriers of race, culture, gender, age, distance (a pen-pal you've never met in person) and, yes, even species (Man's best Friend).

Once a person hits bottom in their life, such as, being in Prison, they learn whom their real friends are. Friendship means they haven't forgotten you at the low points in your life.

Friendship means being there for you even when your own family isn't!

Friendship means that they can and you can depend upon, lean upon, impose upon each other without a question asked. Friendship means you can share a whole day with them, never say a word, and still enjoy each others company. Friendship means being a friend for a day or for a lifetime.

Friendship means many things to many different people, but I hope we all can agree for to have a friend, one must be a friend.
