Essay: "Gambling"by Vonderic Barlow Which should I choose? I've come to a fork in the road. There is a large billboard-type sign sitting directly in the middle. The word 'TORTURE' has been neatly painted across. I look to the right of the road; I see a smaller sign that reads 'Psychological Torture'. I smile, slightly.
"They have to be joking!" I think out loud. So I look to the road to the left. I see another similar sign. The smile slowly fades away as my third eye sees the dilemma. This sign on the left reads 'Psychiatric Torture.' Which method should my mind choose to endure? This is gambling at its ultimate. This is Administrative Segregation. -Vonderic Barlow |
