Essay: "Mind Games"I can see'em playing. There's a political opinion to religious beliefs. There are institutions on local, state, and national levels to the world abroad. It's simple psychology because we all have needs. Everyone's under the influence. But what happens when it is no longer about what to observe, what to listen, or what to read? What happens when your natural instincts to survive are on equal terms with your ability to... see'em playing? When it's strictly about How to think, How to speak, and How to write? Mind games are studied and tested everyday. What do you think of the Criminal-Justice System? Mind games! How else then can this game be played than with the mind against the mind. But first, it's mind over matter; psychology over physics. Yeah, I can see'em playing. Every time I know that they will have to make two of them hogtie me and drive me to court or the hospital, I write the top crats' and ask nicely to be told several hours before hand so I can quit drinking liquids. Every time they ignore me. We wind up in one of their vans, speeding down the highway, sometimes taking the scenic route so they can get overtime. I ask them twice to stop so I can piss. Each time they say, "Hold it: we're almost there." The third time I tell them, "Stop now, I'm going to piss. You choose if it's out the door or under your seat." They always curse. Once they stopped quickly enough to get a half and half. They always swear they will write me up. They never do, or it gets thrown out before they convict me. Why? Because if they let me have it, I will make them give everyone piss-stops. Forcing captives to hold their bladders shut for hours is flagrant cruelty that judges can easily see. Even better, the news-stalkers get pleasure from reporting on the embarrassment and pain of hated prisoners. They never miss a chance to feature another episode of "stupid criminal tricks". We used to get piss-stops. Then some prisoncrats and guards decided to make us suffer. They discovered that all the states' prisoners would fall for their mind games. So they took away everybody's piss stops. But not mine. I call their bluff every time. I give them two chances to stop, and then I make them wish they had stopped. Now I get piss-stops. Word has spread among the guards. They know I don't respect their mind games. When I ask to piss, they pull over. Soon they will decide to tell me six hours prior to the trip. They will do this because I use reason and logic when confronting their idiotic, malicious rules. Also, they have to drive those vans every day. Their petty little mind games equal nothing to driving around day in and day out smelling my piss. |
