Essay: "Breakdown"

To me, a breakdown is when a person is so stressed out or under so much pressure that they don't know what to do or how to control the situation. They just let everything come tumbling out, all as one. Some people breakdown over relationships, and decide not to function. But I can't understand or see a breakdown over that. If a poll was taken between everyday Joes and celebrities, I'm wondering who would have the most breakdowns. I would imagine that people would notice or feel when a breakdown is coming, but won't do anything about it. I personally can't say that I have had a breakdown in my life. If I did, I didn't know it. But I'm sure I would though. I try to keep myself stress free, worry free and pressure free. If everybody with hectic jobs, schedules, etc would take the time to free their mind of worries and such, they would not see or experience a breakdown. But since breakdowns are common in some people's lives, they just accept it. I don't know too much about breakdowns. All I can say is, go to an isolated place that you know, where it's quiet and relaxing. Lay back, close your eyes and clear your mind of all your problems. And with your mind clear, eventually the stress will go. Maintaining a healthy sound and piece of mind will exclude you from breakdowns.
