Essay: "Compassion"

by Daryl Anthony Mitchell-El
Compassion: The Sympathy for the Suffering

Compassion is the sympathy for the suffering. The suffering of the black people of New Orleans did not get the same compassion as those mostly Caucasians who had suffered from the 9/11 attacks in New York. I, born and raised in New Orleans, knew before hurricane Katrina that the American capitalist was racist and did not respect the lives of black people. That's why people like me try to form our own self help Black Nationalist organizations like the B.P.B.L.A. (Black Panther Black Liberation Army), and a new and improved N.W.T. movement for black political prisoners and black political freedom fighters in society. Revolution is about change and since we embraced the literature of the original Black Panther Party of Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seal, we changed as a whole group. The Black Liberation Army for Self Defense was named by a B.P.B.L.A. member, Damaine Patton, a rebellious political prisoner with at least 30 years of segregation and isolation for his aggressive revolt against the prison administration and who is claimed to be incarcerated for a charge he didn't do. I know prisoners often refuse to listen to each other due to the "every man for himself" mentality, but I've chosen to have compassion for listening. I found a loyal brother to a cause bigger than his case: a case we all suffer from as black people--racism.

I do not ask for the sympathy of the people, I ask for the help of the people to help us help ourselves. No longer should we, the black people of North America, should have to pay taxes and vote for Caucasian imposters in positions as, counterfeit political impersonators who have governmental policies extending over other black nations and as politicians who do not have compassion for black people in America. Minister Hashim Nzing, a chief of staff of the New Black Panther Party, states, "We come here boldly. We are part of the extremists, but we know that sometimes you have to go to war to have peace. When Minister Farrakhan issued the call, we went to 37 cities to bring our people here. We want you to know that the Black Panther Party is your family. It's a friend to you, but we are warriors and we're not playing with this." We teach each other to do and depend on self through new world order ideals economically, radically and revolution wise for different situations that are not being addressed by Caucasian governments, organizations, lawyers and judges. No one will do for us like we will do for self. Why keep fighting for another nation to do for us? "We need our own government and our own economic system," said Damaine Patton. This is our mission in and out of the penitentiary. Damaine Patton is the revolutionary who gave the "E" in T.E.R.R.O.R.I.S.T. It used to be spelled T.O.R.R.O.R.I.S.T., meaning Teaching Our Radical Revolution Operational Rehabilitation Ideal Situation Tactics; however, Damaine felt the word 'Terrorist' should be spelled correctly and the 'O' was changed to an 'E' for "Economics" because without black economics we would continue to have to depend on a racist, bias and prejudiced United States Government to support the same black people who built the White House and the United States economic system through free slave labor. The United States Caucasians will not even tell the truth in their schools about a Black Moor named John Hanson. He was the original president of the United States of America, according to books like What They Never Taught You In History Class. President John Hanson designed the Great Seal of the United States and granted George Washington his general position in the U.S. Army. George Washington was really the 1st president under the 2nd Constitution of America. That's why the Black Panther's platform states in #5, " We want education for our people that exposes the nature of this decadent American society. We want education that teaches us our true history and our role in the present day society." The Caucasians will not even admit in this country that Caucasians originated from black African-Asiantics.

What happened in New Orleans, LA in the 9th ward is just a continuance condition that can be discontinued through the power of economics controlled by black people. Having compassion is not action and action is compassion in motion. What is an emotional state to the suffering? Having pity is just a useless emotion if it does not cause a strategy of problem solving or at least an organized attempt. The Black Panthers started breakfast programs. Picture how such programs would have increased the help of the poor kids and adults who had to loot stores for food. The black people wouldn't have to beg for compassion and sympathy if they produced their own food supplies and would lighten the burden of the government and make Blacks less dependent on a racist government. The United States breakfast program in schools is being funded today off the successfulness of the Black Panther's Breakfast for Children programs. We needed this program in New Orleans. The Black Panther information booklet speaks the truth when it states, "The American nightmare continues. Rebels and their rebellions come and go, styles change, movements rise, inspire and die. The inhabitants of the United States have a strong history of struggles against a decaying society, strikes and slave rebellions, but we still live under poverty, obedience and fear. For all the words that fill the textbooks of American history over the past 200 years, what can you honestly say has changed? Still, rich white men control our world and from birth to death they tell us what is good and right." For every action there is a reaction. It's up to you if your action is reactionary or a plan for military operated strategy efficiency revolution. After all, the have the European Union. Why can't the black people have the Black Panthers? I do not want compassion or sympathy. I want the success of the B.P.B.L.A. and all of our people.
