Essay: "Friendship"

by P.,Gary

In my opinion friendship is what an individual gives of him/herself not materialistically but from their hearts. I, for example, am everybody's friend. I will give the shirt off my back to them to keep warm or I'd feed them if they're hungry or I'd shelter them but I'd not do these things to make myself look good in others' eyes, that's a hypocrite; again, I'm a Christian, not a practicing one but one truly; scripture teaches us (me) do not deny no one because the one you deny may be an angel of God, give me a second or longer and I'll find it.... please hold... Well, I cannot locate it but, the point should be well understood, friendship is when one gives from the heart regardless of if it's a stranger or not, friendship is a gift of love -- treat others as you'd want one to treat you, what a better gift than friendship in love of Holy Spirit... did not the thief at the crucifying of Christ tell the other thief as they were all condemned to die say Jesus was the True Son of God, how'd he know, it's not the point, it's in Jesus' love, he saved the one in friendship, I love everyone in friendship.
