Pride what is it? The new Webster's Dictionary says pride is a state or quality of being proud, inordinate self-esteem a cause of pride: glory or delight, highest pitch, splendid show. To indulge in pride is to value oneself. I am a black man who often hears Caucasoid people yell "White Pride" "White Power." As a Black Nationalist, I know a lot of Africans in America get offended at this statement prided by European Nationalist. I can understand the nature of a so called white person wanting to feel some national pride about the power that Europeans have today, even though many Moors and African Hebrew Israelites, the original ones labeled Jews, was enslaved for this power. I do not understand why they don't use this power to improve the international worldwide relations among the masses; then again, pride of being recognized as a world supreme power might be the situation, if you ponder on the thought.

People in general are prided on power; however, being powered on pride has caused the greatest of nations' downfall. What is so called "White Pride" but a state of being proud? If you have something to be proud of, then be proud? A lot of people, including nations have low self-esteem and choose a cause to be proud of.

Should we civilized people be proud of the murder of millions of European Semitic Jews or the enslavement of the African nation, including thief and betrayal of the Indian's land? Why do knowledgeable thinkers have to be proud of people and events that have destroyed the moral conceptions of a nation, just because another nation rises to the top on deceitfulness and war? I do not mind a nation being proud of it's self, for positive accomplishments, but look at it from the tribe of Judah, Ashanti, Fulani, Ewes, Yoruba and the Bantu also the Indians. The Europeans are proud of their conquest that cost other nations the blood of an innocent people. It's okay to have glory and delight but we need to look at the other side of the world, the effects this has on Africa the Mother and who sprouted the first inhabitants of the earth.

Think about it, should the Indians be celebrating Thanksgiving, after their people shared a meal with their own murderers. Should blacks of Egypt be proud that their history was covered up by Caucasoid Europeans and taught that they was nothing more than savages, swinging from tree's, when the Ketmitan of the Cushitic Ethiopian Empire, who built Egypt was very educated , highly skilled, and taught civilization to the Europeans. Some things we are taught to sing about and be proud of, we Americans, Africans, Europeans and Indiana's art to be ashamed of. Is there something wrong if a Caucasian value his own self? No, I don't think there is. However, to base that value on the downfall of another race, I find that ingredient inscrutable to the logical reasoning individual.

How many Africans in America eat the pig today because they were forced to eat pig during slavery, but who never ate the pig in Motherland? Some of us now call that soul food when it was not eaten by their ancestors. I know there's many people who claim Black Nationalist are racist and sometimes vice versa, yet I'm on a point where I am at peace with a Texas Aryan Nation leader who is a so called White Nationalist who know I'm a Black Nationalist, and we get alone in conversations just fine. Yet, I look around and see people fight over race issues. When leaders of two different nationalist groups act civilize, why do people point at the both of us calling a racist? And it doesn't matter to them that we have discussed such issues without confusion or debate in peace.

Studying this thing called pride. I find that pride is not a bad thing, unless you are proud of something that has harmed others. I find nothing wrong with high self-esteem, glory and delight in righteousness at the highest pitch. The splendid show should be something honorable and the value of one's true self shouldn't be taken lightly.

I do know there are some Aryan Brotherhood organizations or nations who do not share the same views, like you had Black panthers in the same organization that views became that of the Black Liberation Army. I make no excuses for the criminal acts that have been committed, by so called white nationalist groups like the K.K.K. on Black people. All I'm saying is when you are proud of something, be proud in peace, but don't let your pride lead to race hate, burning down churches, dragging people on pick-up trucks, kidnapping, tree hangings, the rape of women and other hate acts. The (N.W.T. BLA) N.O.-W.O.L.F.I.N.-T.O.R.R.O.R.I.S.T. Black liberation Army we try to take pride in, not because we are not harming others, but because we are mentally and spiritually healing ourselves. We are not terrorists but T.O.R.R.O.R.I.S.T. which means Teaching Our Radical Revolution OperationRehabilitation Idea Situation Tactics.

As far as us prisoners that are politically active advocates, militants and other convicted revolutionaries we need to put our pride in our pocket, if it causes us disunity. I eye-witnessed numerous accounts of inmates laughing at prisoners getting beat by correctional officials, just because of pride because two prisoners had some pass different viewpoints. I believe a prisoner should never side with an officer Black or Caucasian against a prisoner. We all live together, in this together and will be here together for years, in many cases. So stop the hate pride.

I have seen petty pride such as an inmate bragging because he got more soap, write outs, toothpaste, deodorants and more visits or have more money then poorer prisoners. That is plain stupid pride. If your brother, a man, a fellow inmate lacks food or commissary, feed him. If he is musty, give him some soap. If he cannot write his family, help him out. If he has breath that smells bad, give him some toothpaste until he can help you out. If you go on a visit ask your visitor to bring a friend or a family member, for him. The key is what would Allah be proud of?

Most prisoners are poor like the Africans in Africa; we are living in a third world country behind bars. Most donations we do not get. The warden, officers, and snitches/informant prisoners are the ones most likely getting all things donated. I have seen prisoners so prided they wouldn't let their own celly watch TV with him, if he did have a TV and the same thing is happening with the radios. We are already disregarded by society, underfeed in prison and in risk of unlawful shakedowns. You would think something as simple as watching a program with a person you live with or sharing a radio come with the convict code of conduct.

I see nowadays though that pride rules everything around me. Be proud of your children, your education level, and your self-improvement but do not be proud of you getting more mail than the next man, try to get some one to be his pen-pal. Be proud to give some of your time back on appeal, there's nothing wrong with being proud of the righteous things, but a lot of inmates in prisoners today are overgrown kids, who value misplaced pride. You should study this thing called pride.
