Essay: "Second Chance"by Mark Vines Well here I sit contemplating the mistakes in my life I made and wishing I could go back in time and take a different path. I was really lucky this time with what kind of charge I had and knowing this was my fourth time in prison. I was blessed with a small sentence and will be out next year. I'm grateful I will be given another chance, which will probably be my last chance.
So find myself sitting here thinking and planning my future. And what I need to do so I don't come back. I will put all this behind me and make good on this 2nd chance that has been given to me. |
