Derrick Corley

Derrick "Jack" Corley is from Brooklyn, New York. He has his Bachelor Degree from SUNY New Paltz, and is currently working on his Masters. He has been writing since 1987, at which time he wrote his first story, and has gone on to in Honorable Mention in the 1995 PEN Writing Awards Contest for Prisoners for a short play; and in 2002, he won in the Memoir category. He has had several short stories, numerous essays and articles, and much poetry published. He writes a regular column appearing in "Fortune News"-- "Derrick's View". He is presently at work in writing a book.
