Essay: "Loyalty"by Michael J. McKinney This month's essay topic is about loyalty, and loyalty is a well respected, powerful world. And the word loyalty should be given in a friendship. The word loyalty should be used and given in a relationship. The word loyalty should be used and given in a family. Being loyal is what helps keep that family bond strong. Now days in this new wave world system, they know what being loyal to a true friend or a loved one means. Back in the days when I was growing up the word loyalty was something most people lived by, because they knew loyalty would take them a long way with anybody they came in contact with. No true friendship or a relationship can be built without loyalty. And my grandmother taught the meaning of loyalty through the way she always treated me. At that time I did not know the meaning of loyalty. But it was instilled in me through her ways. And that is what helped me go through life showing and being loyal to the ones I loved and was down with. I knew no other way. This is what kept me and my brother Sedrick McKinney so close to each other. We always showed each other that love, respect and loyalty. Because to me that's all loyalty is, love and respect. And this is something that should be instilled in the upcoming generation of today. So they could pass it on. That was loyalty can never be forgotten.
